Who is AoRC?

Artists of Rubber City is more than just a club and our members are more than just artists. Based in Akron, Ohio, Artists of Rubber City was established in 1978 by a group of recent graduates of The University of Akron.  We are a network of working artists and art lovers who enjoy supporting each other's creative endeavors.  We hope to connect the Akron community to contemporary art and to connect artists to each other.

The BOX Gallery

Artists of Rubber City (AoRC) is a visual arts nonprofit with the mission to advocate for contemporary artists and Ohio art. The Box Gallery is located on the third floor of Summit Artspace, and showcases contemporary art from our membership.
