David Maynard is best known for his large graphic works that often take on a meditative quality in both their simplicity and repetitive nature.

Both familiar and unfamiliar objects and striking themes explore the beauty and fragility of life and death; the mental health crisis; the commercialization of America and its people; and political themes such as gun control and human rights. Work that forces a dialogue that may be uncomfortable yet necessary.

Maynard has exhibited in the past, throughout northeast Ohio and has had his work included in nation wide publications.

A mixed media artist with a focus on various print-making techniques and sculptural elements, Maynard lives and produces his art from his home studio in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
